Lucy Shauman (any pronouns) is a queer NYC director & screenwriter originally from Northern California. A graduate of Barnard College, Lucy holds a B.A. in Film Studies and is invested in stories that expand the science fiction genre by highlighting underrepresented voices and narratives. Lucy’s short screenplay Golden State has been recognized by Scriptapalooza, Blue Cat Screenplay Competition, and Austin Film Festival. Lucy is currently based in NYC, working as a freelance filmmaker and assistant director on narrative films and music videos.
