Lucy Shauman is a director & screenwriter originally from Northern California. She graduated from Barnard College in 2021 with a B.A. in film studies and a concentration in screenwriting. Lucy is invested in stories that expand the science fiction genre by highlighting underrepresented voices and narratives. Her short screenplay Golden State has been recognized by Scriptapalooza, Blue Cat Screenplay Competition, and Austin Film Festival. Red Delicious, her second short film, is in post-production. Lucy lives and works in NYC.
